  • A Kashmiri Muslim girl who married a Pakistani Army officer, on say of her father, to provide India with classified information during the 1971 war.
  • No one knew about her untill recently when the movie RAAZI was introduced. This movie is based on the life and sacrifice of this Indian girl



·         After WAR passed by, this woman undercover returned to the country, pregnant with the child of her Pakistani husband, who grew up to be an Indian Army Officer.
·         Harinder Sikka, the writer of the novel from which the movie is inspired, met her when he started writing and said,
·         But she would not speak much. Slowly, she opened up but I still don’t know how she managed to take out such secret information from Pakistani intelligence. All the information she passed on from there matched with the Indian intelligence report here.”
·         The most important information shared by her was about Pakistan's plan to sink INS VIKRANT and she saved many lives.
·         Our Government could save its biggest pride on the sea only because of her.
  •   In return for her service, all she wanted was to unfurl the Indian Tricolor at her house

We’ve often heard the phrase ‘age is just a number’, but there are people who swear by it as they do not let it come in their way of fulfilling their dreams. One such woman is Sangeeta Bahl who at 53 scaled Mount Everest, becoming the oldest Indian woman to do so. But that’s not all, so far, she has climbed six of the highest peaks in the world, in her quest to conquer the tallest summits in every continent.
